Everybody is eagerly waiting for the next Smartphone launch of Micromax and now finally Micromax Unveiled his next Canvas Smartphone in a press conference in New Delhi . This new handset is named as Micromax A116 Canvas HD . Before the official notification there were many rumors on the internet regarding launch of Canvas 3 but today it’s official and handset is named as Canvas HD . This phablet will be available in the first week of february on various online store . After the big hit of Canvas 2 , Hoping this will create a huge boom in the market and makes a very tough competitions among the other branded mobile handset manufacturer like Samsung ,Sony etc . Lets move to the specifications and features of this Smartphone .
Micromax A116 Canvas HD Specifications :
This new devices comes with inbuilt latest version of Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean , canvas 2 is still running on 4.0 ICS and no update till yet , So this will be a great improvement in the handset . Every body is hoping for Quad core Processor , yes it is confirmed that Canvas HD is powered with Quad Code Processor clocked at 1.2 GHz , now this device will also compete with Galaxy S3 type high-end handsets with this processor .
As we know Canvas is the series of 5 inch Smartphone , this Device also has a 5 inch HD Capacitive touch Screen Display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels supporting 16 M colours . Earlier handset having 480×854 pixels but this is huge improvement . RAM of the handset is still unknown but hoping it will have 1GB RAM . If this happens ,both the combination will work as good as cutting butter with a knife .
All the other feature will remain same like 3G , GPS ,Wi-Fi ,Bluetooth ,hotspot . If we talk about its internal memory , it will have minimum 4 GB available and can extended up to 32 GB . Micromax A116 is powered with 2100 mAh standard battery same as on the earlier handset which will provide a good backup . Other specification remains unknown but will update here as soon as curtains lifts .

Update On 21 January : Hi Guys , We are back with some confirmation regarding the specification of the handset , It is confirmed that Micromax Canvas HD comes with 1GB RAM and 8 MP rear facing camera which is better than that of Canvas 2 if Micromax CEO is to believed ,also a 0.3 MP front facing camera for video calling , 4 GB internal Memory , 4.1 Jelly bean Android OS , 1.2 Ghz Quad Core Processor with PowerVR SGX5 GPU . Ya canvas HD is much better than canvas 2 but to buy A116 you have to wait for some time .
I am very desperately waiting for this canvas HD. Hope they will come in delhi soon and btw nowadays there is lots of black marketing in delhi of the micromax canvas 2. I hope micromax will made enough sets this time to complete our requirement
